Our story
Prism Events is a production-led event lighting and technical services company based in the north of Scotland, supporting events across the Highlands, Moray, Lochaber and Aberdeenshire.
Formed as a rebrand and expansion of Prism Event Lighting, the business builds on years of practical experience delivering weddings, corporate events, live performances, and outdoor installations. Our team combines creative technical design with structured planning and reliable live delivery, ensuring events are delivered safely, professionally, and to a consistently high standard.
With in-house production expertise and recognised industry training, Prism Events works closely with clients, venues, and partners to translate concepts into well-executed events, from early design through to live operation and de-rig.

OUR EXPERIENCE & BACKGROUND >
Keith Bauer
Director
Keith’s interest in event production began in his teenage years, when he DJed, handled the technical aspects of community shows, and toured with his father’s band. After settling down, getting married, and having children, he experienced something of a midlife crisis and started a production company, which has since grown into Prism as it is today.

Alex Rennie
Lighting Manager
Alex has been heavily involved in music and events from a young age, starting out by working weekends in a family friend’s recording studio and moving on to doing live sound for his dad’s band during his early teenage years. He eventually went to college to study sound production before turning his sights to lighting.
Over 10 years, his love of lighting has developed into a vast array of experience as a lighting designer, operator, and programmer across many facets of the industry, as well as seeing him become a project lead and site manager for some of the biggest projects we’ve ever delivered.
Alex’s passion and creative drive are exactly what Prism is all about: making an event the best it can be.
